Milo- June 2025

When we went to Puerto Rico in April of 2025, we met Milo. We were at a waterfall hike in West - Central Puerto Rico, and he was wandering from person to person, looking for food and love. He had been used in dog fighting as a bait dog. My family and I fell in love and were determined to get Milo a better life. He was so sweet and kind, even despite his past, and we knew that Milo deserved so much more. We took him with us to our vacation rental. The hostess put us in contact with somebody who could help us help him. In Puerto Rico, Milo was fostered for a month until he could come to the mainland. We fostered him for another month until him and Joe read his story and saw his pictures at Petapalooza. They fell in love and Milo found his forever home with Joe.
